Connie returned to Standard in 2009 after working with Mouser Custom Cabinetry as a manufacturer’s representative for three years. She has a long history as a designer with Standard beginning in 1992. She received her interior design education with a degree from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville and has taken numerous National Kitchen & Bath Association courses as well as serving on the board of the local NKBA chapter. Connie has been in the design related business since 1978.
About her design philosophy Connie says, “I enjoy my position as designer immensely. It is always fun and challenging to help clients bring fresh energy to their dream spaces. Kitchens and baths should be both functional and uniquely beautiful. I will have fun, but work hard helping you create the signature space you want for your family.”
In her spare time you will find Connie gardening, reading, and doing some woodcrafting. “I live in an historic bungalow and enjoy the challenges an older home offers. Preservation of our homes is as important to me as creating new lasting spaces. I also serve on the board of my neighborhood homeowners association and stay active with continuing education courses.”
