Depending on the brand, the cabinet care routine fluctuates. Find your cabinet brand below and educate yourself on the process.

MOUSER CABINETRY
Mouser Custom Cabinetry manufactures the finest custom cabinetry available, cabinetry that will give you years of trouble-free service when it is installed and cared for as we recommend.

Foil Products, Regular Care and Cleaning:
Always use a cotton cloth, non-abrasive sponge, or microfiber cloth. Wipe with a damp cloth or sponge with mild dish soap. For oily or tacky surfaces wipe with a damp cloth or sponge using a 50/50 mix of water and Simple Green Brand cleaner. You should avoid any abrasive cleaner, most solvent-based cleaners and harsh chemicals, acetone, baking soda, and cleaners containing ammonia.

SHOWPLACE CABINETRY
Showplace Wood Products cabinetry is designed and crafted to stand up to rigorous daily use. No special or unique care is required. Simple common sense precautions and practices will keep it looking great for years to come.

Basic Care Tips:
Wipe up spills, splatters and water spots as they occur. Keep cabinets dry. Clean as needed with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use mild detergent or soap and warm water. Dry surfaces immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid using a dishcloth or sponge, which could contain remnants of grease or detergents. Do not use products with bleach, ammonia or abrasive additives. Never use scouring pads, steel wool or powdered cleaners. Do not allow oven cleaners to come in contact with wood finishes. Don’t place small kitchen appliances where heat is directed onto cabinet surfaces. Avoid draping damp clothes or dishtowels over cabinet doors. Excessive moisture can cause permanent damage

WAYPOINT LIVING SPACES
Waypoint Living Spaces makes cabinet remodeling easier, offering more than just beautiful cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, or any room in your home.

To care for your cabinets, remove dust from cabinets with a soft line-free cloth. The cloth may be slightly dampened with water or a spray type dust remover. Cabinet surfaces may be polished once every few months with a high quality, non-oil based furniture polish. Do not use a paste wax type material, as wax build-up is difficult to remove and will leave a residue that attracts dust and moisture. Polishes containing silicon should not be used.

Clean spills immediately. Use a clean cloth and mild soap if necessary. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use detergents, citrus or ammonia based cleaners, steel wool, soap pads or abrasive cleaners.

Waypoint products are extremely resistant to stains and surface damage that can be caused by common household chemicals and exceed KCMA and ANSI standards for resistance to stains like coffee, grape juice and moisture.
